Push Pictures is headed by Alexandra Roberts, a Toronto-based producer interested in ambitious and forward-thinking film, documentary, and episodic content. Roberts cut her teeth in the industry on the first season of VICE’s Emmy-winning newsmagazine series for HBO. Since then her work has aired internationally on Discovery, Al Jazeera English, Netflix, Hulu, Roku, CBC, TVO, ARTE, and OUTtv, among others. She received her MA in Media Studies from the New School, a BA in Cultural Studies from McGill University, and is a 2018 alumni of the Producers’ Lab at the Canadian Film Centre.
